Hi there, I’m so happy that you found my blog.
My name is Nanine, I’m 32 years old and live in the eastern part of Switzerland. I’m a Kindergarten Teacher and I love planning and organising. As you might be able to guess from the titel of my blog, I’m also diabetic. In July 09 I was diagnosed with type one diabetes at the age of 19. I’ve never heard of diabetes before my diagnosis (apart from that one lesson during high school biology). When I was first diagnosed I had a lot of questions and not too many answers for them. Since nobody that I knew was a diabetic, I felt pretty lonely and I sometimes thought that nobody understood me. This blog is here to help others and myself on this crazy ride that is called diabetes.
